Sweet and Pungent Pork
Ingredients
- 2 lg Eggs
- 1/4 cup All Purpose Flour
- 2 tbsp Cornstarch
- 1 lbs Pork Chops, Boneless
- 2 tbsp Dry Sherry
- 6 tbsp Sugar
- 6 tbsp Vinegar
- 2 tsp Soy Sauce
- 1/4 cup Tomato Paste
- 1 tsp Cornstarch
- 1/2 tsp Tabasco Sauce
- 1/4 cup Water
- 3 med Carrots -- chopped
- 1 lbs Broccoli -- chopped
- 1 tsp Ground Ginger
Directions
- Cube pork. Comine eggs, flour, and cornstarch. Add pork. Coat thoroughly and refrigerate at least 30 minutes. Mix together liquids, sugar, and cornstarch. set aside. Heat about 1 inch of oil in skillet. Add pork and cook until golden. Remove and drain. Pour off all but 2 Tbsp. oil and add vegetables. Heat thoroughly. Add meat, ginger, and sauce. Heat until good and hot. Serve over rice.
